The Apocalypse
There is an apocalyptic convergence of events in and out of the Church. The Magisterium allows Eschatological (End Times) dialogue, with a few guideposts. The 1994 Catechism is an infallible magisterial document which refers to a future Antichrist and persecution. (ยง675) So Nero's Rome was just a foreshadowing of the Great Tribulation in Revelation, which we think is coming soon.
