Ezekiel 36

As for you, mountains of Israel, you shall grow branches and bear fruit for my people Israel, for they shall soon return.

“This desolate land has been made into a garden of Eden,” they shall say.

See, I come to you ... I will settle crowds of men upon you ... cities shall be repeopled, and ruins rebuilt. I will settle crowds of men and beasts upon you, to multiply and be fruitful. I will repeople you as in the past, and be more generous to you than in the beginning; thus you shall know that I am the Lord.

Psalms

The earth shall yield its fruit, for God, our God, has blessed us. Psalm 67

Psalm 72

.. that the mountains may yield their bounty for the people and the hills great abundance.

Then the Lord’s name will be declared on Zion, the praise of God in Jerusalem, when all peoples and kingdoms gather to worship the Lord. Psalm 102

Isaiah

Then the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; the calf and the young lion shall browse together, with a little child to guide them. The cow and the bear shall be neighbors, together their young shall rest; the lion shall eat hay like the ox. The baby shall play by the cobra’s den, and the child lay his hand on the adder’s lair. There shall be no harm or ruin on my holy mountain ... Isaiah 11

Strengthen the hands that are feeble, make firm the knees that are weak ... Then will the eyes of the blind be opened, the ears of the deaf be cleared; Then the lame will leap like a stag, then the tongue of the dumb will sing. Isaiah 35

I will lead the blind on their journey ... I will turn darkness into light before them, and make crooked ways straight. Isaiah 42

There shall no more be an infant of days there, nor an old man that shall not fill up his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old ... My elect shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for a curse; for they shall be a righteous seed blessed by the Lord, and their posterity with them. Isaiah 65

I come to gather nations of every language; they shall come and see my glory. Isaiah 66

Jeremiah

I will turn their mourning into joy, I will console and gladden them after their sorrows. I will lavish choice portions upon the priests, and my people shall be filled with my blessings, says the Lord. Jeremiah 31

Zechariah

In those days ten men of every nation, speaking in different tongues, shall take hold, yes, take old of every Jew by the edge of his garment and say, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” Zechariah 8

The weakling among them shall be like David on that day. Zechariah 12

2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

7 “The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit[a] of grace and supplication. They will look on[b] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. 11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

Zephaniah 2

The coast shall belong to the remnant of the house of Judah ... for the Lord their God shall visit them and bring about their restoration.

New Testament References

Matthew 6:10

“Thy Kingdom Come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.“

“... until the times of universal restoration, which God hath spo- ken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.”

Romans 8:19-22
